Busy Minds Daycare is a licensed home daycare in Laurel, MD caring for children from infancy through age 5. Because we are a small home daycare, children of different ages learn and play together like a family, while activities are adapted to each child’s age and stage.

Our youngest children get warm, responsive care in a calm home setting. We follow your baby’s lead with plenty of holding, talking, singing, reading and floor play, and we keep you updated so home and daycare feel connected. Ask us about current infant openings when you call or book a tour.
Toddlers are busy learning to talk, move and do things on their own. We give them room to explore safely through play, music and movement, simple arts and crafts, story time and first counting and color games, with patient support for sharing, routines and growing independence.
For preschoolers we build on play with early math and reading activities, letters and numbers, hands-on projects and practice with group routines, so children head to pre-K and kindergarten curious and confident.
Language is part of every day at Busy Minds. Alongside English, we practice words and songs in ASL, Spanish and Punjabi, and we share books, toys and activities that celebrate different cultures.
As a licensed home daycare, we care for a small group of children, so your child is known by name and cared for by the same familiar faces each day. We are open year round, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm, at 11305 Castlewood Ct in Laurel, MD.
